Pastor incentivized his children to read as they grew up. The Bible tells us that God's people are destroyed because of a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6) and Proverbs makes it clear that we are to pursue wisdom in every area of life. We live in a time when there is increasing illiteracy and increasing Biblical illiteracy. It's more important than ever before that we encourage our children to read as they grew up. Here is a compilation of many of the books Pastor had his children read. Austin has also updated this list with a few additions.
